In this article, let’s explore an easy way of pairing a Fibaro Smoke Sensor with your Vera app. This pairing process applies to our entire line-up of Controllers.
In the Vera app, click the menu icon and go to “Devices.”
Next, tap the “+” symbol, go to “sensors,” and look for your sensor.
Select your sensor and click on it.
When ready, click “Next” to initiate the pairing process.
On the sensor, take off the plastic backplate to remove the battery pull tab and press the Test button three times, as you keep the smoke sensor close to the Controller.
Once the Controller recognizes the smoke sensor, it will start pairing it with your system.
Go back to the Vera app to choose a name for your smoke sensor and select a room to finalize the setup process.
You have now successfully added extra convenience and protection to your home with the Fibaro Smoke Sensor and the Vera App.
