Pairing
- Ensure the device is in pairing mode and the light is flashing red.
- Place it close to the controller.
- On the main menu of the app, choose “Devices.”
- Tap the “+” sign.
- Next, select “Add New Device.”
- Then, go to the “Door Locks” category.
- Select and tap on “Kwikset SmartCode Touchpad Electronic Deadbolt 912” from the list.
- Hit “Next” to initiate the pairing.
- Go back to your device and open the back cover by sliding it upwards.
- Press the button on the device two times to start pairing.
- Tap “Next” on the device to confirm.
- The controller will confirm the pairing process.
- Click “Done” after pairing successfully.
Deadbolt
- You can use the app to lock and unlock your door.
- You will need to set a password on the keypad.
- Press on the side of the “Lock Button.”
- Go to “Add New PIN Code.”
- On the app, input the 4-digit code and confirm.
- Go to your device, and on the touchpad, input the PIN.
- Confirm on the app if it locks the door.
- If it does, you have successfully paired the devices.
- You can now program the keypad to match the code of your house.
Unpairing
- Open the Ezlo app and select the “Unpair a device” icon.
- Select your Kwikset SmartCode Touchpad Electronic Deadbolt 912 from the list.
- Go to the device and press the button.
- On the app, confirm your action by tapping “OK.”
