This guide will show you how easy it is to pair your Aeotec Recessed Door Sensor ZW187-A with the Ezlo Hubs. Here is how you can pair your recessed door sensor:
Pairing
- Power on your Ezlo Hub and wait until it finds the new device in its list of devices that need pairing.
- Go into the Ezlo app and navigate to “Devices” on the main menu icon.
- Tap the “+” icon.
- Scroll down and tap “Add Device” to get a list of available devices.
- Add “Z- Wave Device.”
- Then, tap on “Aeotec Recessed Door Sensor ZW187-A” to select.
- Click “Next” to start pairing.
- Go to the sensor and press once on the action button.
- The onboard LED will continuously flash to signify pairing.
- Go to the app to confirm and create room for the sensor.
- Now it will ask you to pair it with the sensor by entering the code provided on the packaging and the sensor.
- Enter the 5-digit code and press “Next” to confirm pairing.
- Finalize the process on the app.
Door Sensor
- Now you can control your Aeotec Recessed Door Sensor ZW187-A through the Ezlo app.
- Select “on” and create a door closing and opening scene on your device.
- You will receive notifications on your smartphone, signifying a successful pairing process.
Unpairing
- Go to the “Unpair Device” icon on your app and tap to confirm unpairing.
- Press the sensor’s action button.
- Confirm action through the app by hitting “Ok.”
