These guidelines explore an easy way of pairing Nortek Plug-in Dimmer with Ezlo Hubs. Ensure your device is close to the controller for best results.
Pairing
First, select where to place the dimmer and plug it into the electrical wall socket.
On your smartphone, tap the menu icon on the Vera app and select “Devices.”
Now tap the “+” symbol, and select “Dimmers & Lights.”
Tap “Pair new device.”
Find your Plug-in Dimmer and select it to activate the pairing process.
When ready, tap “Next,” and begin the pairing process.
Go to the Plug-in Dimmer and press once on the action button.
The dimmer will blink red, then blue for a few seconds to signify pairing.
The controller and sensor will connect and pair up.
Go to the Vera app to confirm and finalize the process.
Congratulations. You did it!
Dimmer
You can now plug any appliance into your Nortek Plug-in Dimmer and remotely control it using your Vera app. Now use your Vera app to switch on and dim your lights.
Unpairing
Tap the “Unpair device” icon on your app.
Press twice the action button on the device.
Back to the app, confirm your unpairing process.
