This guide will take you through the process of setting up your Aeotec Recessed Door Sensor 7 with an Ezlo Atom.
First, open the sensor’s lid, clear the battery pull tab, and close the lid.
In the menu icon of the Vera app, go to “Devices.”
Click the “+” symbol, then scroll to “Generic Z-Wave Device.”
Tap on it to select and when ready, click “Next” to initiate the pairing process.
Go back to the Recessed Door Sensor and press the action button once while keeping the sensor close to the controller.
The onboard LED will blink for two seconds as a confirmation.
Once the controller recognizes the device, it will pair with it.
Get a name for your sensor, select a room, and finalize the process in the Vera app.
You can now monitor the sensor and trigger a scene with your Vera app.
